Before You Download
Two honest points before anything else. First, both files are linked above: the Android APK and the iOS IPA, each measured and printed with its real size. Second, the checks below matter more than speed.
Have the right phone ready: the Android device you actually watch on, with enough free storage for a video heavy app and its cache. Have your TikTok sign in details ready too, and remember the golden rule: you will type them only inside the app, never on a web page.
Installing After the Download
Once the file has downloaded, open it from your notifications or file manager. Android will ask you to allow installs from that one app; allow it for this install, check that the install screen names TikTok Extra, and tap Install.
Once it opens, sign in inside the app, then walk the variant settings: switch on clean downloads, pick your feed region, and set the feed toggles the way you like them. Finally, go back to Android settings and turn the install permission off again.
First Run Checks
Spend two minutes verifying the build in front of you. Play three videos, save one clip and look for the watermark setting result, open LIVE, and send one message. If an extra you came for is missing, it is missing from that build, and no setting hunt will add it.
Our full checking method, including the phones we test on, is written up on the how we review page linked below the FAQs.
